Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Executive Summary

With no Beige book from the Federal Reserve, and lack of retail sales information from December, we will not be drawing conclusions on the economy until the February summary. Our view is that for hire trucking will remain soft through the first half of the year. Secondly, OEM truck production for heavy and medium duty trucks will see no up turn before the fourth quarter 2008.
